WALPOLE, Mass., 6 Dec. 2007.United Electronic Industries (UEI) in Walpole, Mass., is introducing the DNR-12-1G Ethernet I/O chassis -- otherwise known as the RACKtangle. Based on the UEI Cube I/O chassis, the rectangular form factor increases the number of I/O slots from six to 12 in a rugged 3U chassis.
As the RACKtangle is electrically compatible with the Cube form factors, all of the I/O boards available in the Cube form factor are also available for the RACKtangle. More than I/O modules available.
Software for the RACKtangle comes in the UEIDAQ Framework, which provides API that supports popular programming and operating systems including Windows, Vista, Linux, QNX, RTX, and RT Linux.
The board is supported by LabVIEW, MATLAB/Simulink, DASYLab or any application supporting ActiveX, OPC or Modbus TCP control. For more information contact UEI online at www.ueidaq.com.
