Amtech Systems receives $3.9 million solar order

TEMPE, Ariz., 28 Dec. 2007.Amtech Systems Inc., a global supplier of production and automation systems and related supplies for the manufacture of solar cells, semiconductors, and silicon wafers, announced the company has received a $3.9 million follow-on solar order for diffusion processing systems from an existing solar cell customer based in Taiwan.

For its fiscal 2008 year-to-date (since October 1, 2007), Amtech has received solar orders totaling approximately $19 million, including this most recent order. Amtech expects the $3.9 million follow-on order to ship in fiscal 2008.
