ENGlobal wins defense contract to provide engineering services

HOUSTON, 3 Oct. 2007. Provider of engineering and professional services, ENGlobal Corp.'s subsidiary, ENGlobal Technical Services Inc. (ETS), is one of three firms that have been awarded a multiple award, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity cost-plus-fixed-fee, performance-based contract by the U.S. Navy.

HOUSTON, 3 Oct. 2007. Provider of engineering and professional services, ENGlobal Corp.'s subsidiary, ENGlobal Technical Services Inc. (ETS), is one of three firms that have been awarded a multiple award, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity cost-plus-fixed-fee, performance-based contract by the U.S. Navy.

This MAC-IDIQ contract provides for engineering support to the Navy, Department of Defense, and other government agencies, including the Defense Logistics Agency.

The total value of task orders awarded under the base year of the contract is estimated not to exceed approximately $24 million and is expected to be completed by September 2008. The contract includes four one-year option periods (exercisable at the option of the Navy), which, if exercised, are expected to be complete by September 2012 and could bring the total cumulative value of the contract to $126 million.
