HOUSTON, 24 Feb. 2007. CapRock Communications, a global satellite communications provider, has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Arrowhead Global Solutions Inc., a supplier of integrated communication solutions to the federal government and military.

The combination of CapRock's global network and Arrowhead's service offerings will allow the combined companies to better serve the military/government, energy, engineering, construction, and systems integration markets. The news was announced at the Satellite 2007 conference in Washington, D.C.

With the acquisition, Arrowhead customers, including first responders and government personnel, will benefit from CapRock's global infrastructure that includes four international teleports and 10 regional operation centers.

Arrowhead has a strong track record in providing mission-critical services to the government and military. CapRock earned its reputation delivering that same level of service to customers operating in similar remote and harsh environments.

For customers of both companies, the move will mean a broader array of available satellite-based network solutions as well as greater engineering and systems integration capabilities.

Pending receipt of the requisite regulatory approvals, Arrowhead will become a wholly owned subsidiary of CapRock.
