ALEXANDRIA, Va. - The U.S. Air Force has awarded DSD Laboratories Inc. a potential $60 million indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract to provide logistics information technology sustainment, DevSecOps, and agentic artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities for Air Force Materiel Command.
The firm-fixed-price contract calls for DSD to provide enterprise system sustainment, DevSecOps implementation and automated continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipeline management, cybersecurity and continuous Risk Management Framework authorization-to-operate maintenance, cloud and legacy-platform administration, system integration and codebase refactoring, tiered help-desk support, and user training.
The contract is notable for its explicit reference to agentic AI sustainment, although the Air Force award announcement does not describe how agentic AI will be employed or whether the technology will directly perform software-development and sustainment tasks.

DSD Labs describes its own software-delivery technology as including DSD FORGE, an AI-enabled platform for federal software delivery. The company says FORGE supports application modernization, DevSecOps and infrastructure-as-code, automated compliance and ATO evidence generation, testing, secure change management and long-term sustainment. DSD says the platform has been implemented on a U.S. Air Force system in an operational environment.
DSD also describes Astra, a FORGE component focused on DevSecOps and infrastructure-as-code for Air Force and Department of Defense cloud environments. The company says Astra integrates with GitLab CI/CD pipelines and applies generative AI to planning, automation, and decision support.
DSD's current hiring activity also indicates work supporting Air Force Logistics IT modernization, including cloud migration, system integration and sustainment of Air Force logistics IT systems. The company identifies systems including G081/FMxC2, REMIS, ILS-S, ESCAPE, and BLADE as part of the Air Force Logistics IT portfolio.
Work under the new contract will be performed at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, and contractor facilities, with completion expected by 20 Sept. 2031.
The Air Force is obligating $2.65 million in fiscal 2026 operations and maintenance funds at the time of award. The $60 million figure represents the contract ceiling, not the amount currently obligated.
