COLUMBIA, Md. - Enlighten IT Consulting LLC of Columbia, Md., has been awarded a $332.8 million U.S. Air Force contract to provide an enterprise service solution supporting data interoperability within the Integrated Defensive Cyber System (IDCS) architecture.
The firm-fixed-price contract calls for a solution that establishes interoperability with the Joint Cyber Warfighting Architecture (JCWA) Common Runtime Stack for Data and supports edge data analytics, storage, and transport.
Enlighten, a subsidiary of Huntington Ingalls Industries (HII), develops data platforms and software for defense and national security applications. Its existing IONIC platform supports data ingestion, normalization, enrichment, storage, querying, visualization, and specialized analytics. The Air Force award announcement does not specify whether IONIC will fulfill the new contract.
Enlighten has also held separate contracts involving the IDCS Data Fabric, which is intended to promote interoperability between enterprise and tactical environments, and the modernization of cyber data platforms. The public award notice does not establish whether the new contract extends or replaces any of that work.
The Air Force awarded the contract 30 Sept. 2026, following a competitive acquisition through a Commercial Solutions Opening on the Tradewinds Solutions Marketplace. Seven offers were received. Work will take place within and outside the continental United States and is expected to be completed by 30 Sept. 2032.
The Air Force and U.S. Space Force are obligating Fiscal 2026 operations and maintenance, and research, development, test, and evaluation funds at the time of award. The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center at Joint Base San Antonio is the contracting activity. The contract number is FA8307-26-C-B015.
