Alan Baldus, Intel SBC Product Marketing Manager at Curtiss-Wright Embedded Controls, has over 15 years in the embedded computer industry designing, selling and supporting Network Interface Cards (NIC), Single Board Computers, and the systems they reside in. Alan began his career as a FAE supporting the Western Region for PTI. He left PTI to build and direct a worldwide team of FAEs for SBS Technologies (now GE-IP). Previous to Alan’s arrival at CWCEC, he spent 5 years with Mercury Computer, supporting the Intel based line of Single Board Computers. Alan has been active in the embedded Special Interest Groups and chaired the PICMG 2.15 PTMC Spec. He holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from San Diego State and resides in Carlsbad, CA.
