John is a Senior RF Application Engineer in the MIL/Aerospace Sales Group. He has over 45 years’ experience with Test and Measurement, 39 of those years at Tektronix. John started his electronic career with the United States Marine Corp in 1969 as a Meteorological/Oceanographic Electronic Technician working with Doppler Radars, Satellite Communication Receivers, Tactical Radios and Cryptographic Communication Systems. While in the Marines, John was awarded a NESEP Program Scholarship to attend Johnson County Community College in Overland Park KS studying Electronic Technology and Computer Science and has continued his education at the College Of Southern Maryland. John joined Tektronix in 1978 and has worked in a variety of positions: Graphic Terminal Service Instructor, Microprocessor Development System Instructor/Application Engineer, Logic Analyzer Product Specialist, National Logic Analyzer Application Engineer, Sales Account Manager, and Senior RF Application Engineer.
