The electronics cooling system uses a DC variable speed compressor and coolant pump, with a compressor that can be varied from 1,200 to 6,500 rpm.

MARLBOROUGH, Mass. – Aspen Systems Inc. in Marlborough, Mass.,, is introducing the RMC-1100 rack-mount chiller to provide liquid cooling for electronics thermal management in applications that requires small size, light weight, or high efficiency.

The electronics thermal-management system provides enough electronics thermal management to cool 1,100 Watts in a 2U 3.5-inch-tall rackmount enclosure.

The electronics cooling system uses a DC variable speed compressor and coolant pump. The compressor can be varied from 1,200 to 6,500 rpm to provide cooling power from 20 to 100 percent to match the load.

The compressor speed of the rack-mount chiller adjusts automatically by the PID controller based on the user input for the set point temperature.

Pump speed is user variable via the controller from 0 to 3.5 liters per minute with a maximum pressure of 100 psi. The system includes a universal power supply for 110 to 220 volts AC at 50 to 60 Hz. Optionally, the system can be configured for its native 24 volts DC for portable or mobile applications.

Applications include laser cooling; medical devices; medical aesthetics; electronics and enclosures; electric vehicle systems; laboratory equipment; bio-sample analyzers; patient cooling; sensors and detectors; data centers; and communications systems.
