VAN NUYS, Calif. – Moticont in Van Nuys, Calif., is introducing the LVCM-025-029-02 and the metricLVCM-025-029-02M linear voice coil servo motors for laser beam steering and filtering, test and measurement, optical focusing, dynamic vibration absorption, haptic feedback, and wafer handling assembly.
These miniature 1-inch-diameter brushless high speed linear servo motors feature high force-to-size ratios, zero cogging, high accuracy, high repeatability, and sub-micron resolution when operated in a closed loop as a DC servo motor.
Featuring low inertia and high acceleration and deceleration for high throughput, these linear servo motors have a stroke length of 0.313 inches, a force-to-size ratio of 37.6 ounces, and a peak force of 118.9 ounces at 10 percent duty cycle.
The LVCM-025-029-02 linear voice coil motor has a 10-32 UNC-2B threaded mounting hole in the center of the housing and two 6-32-UNC-2B threaded mounting holes on the coil end and the metric LVCM-025-029-02M has a M5X0.8 0.20 (5) DP threaded mounting hole in the center of the housing and two M33.5X0.6 0.20 (5) DP threaded mounting holes on the coil end.
These linear voice coil servo motors are available as complete plug-and-Play systems including single or multi-axis controllers, encoders, joysticks or trackballs, and cables.
