Solid-state linear power amplifier for military, airborne, and lab work introduced by Comtech PST

MELVILLE, N.Y., 27 Feb. 2011. Comtech PST Corp. in Melville, N.Y., is introducing the model BHED25869-150 solid state class AB linear amplifier for military and airborne applications that operates over 2500 to 6000 MHz frequency bandwidth and delivers a minimum of 150 Watts into a 2:1 load voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR).

Comtech PST Corp. in Melville, N.Y., is introducing the model BHED25869-150 class AB solid state linear amplifier for military and airborne applications that operates over 2500 to 6000 MHz frequency bandwidth and delivers a minimum of 150 Watts into a 2:1 load voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR).This high-gain military power amplifier uses the latest Gallium Nitride (GaN) technology and is packaged in a standard rack-mountable enclosure measuring 19 by 22 by 5.25 inches. The unit is air cooled by an integrated high speed blower. Optional remote control through RS422 is available.The unit has an internal power supply that operates from 100 to 265 volts AC, 47 to 400 Hz single phase, making it suitable for laboratory and airborne applications.

Comtech PST can also add dual directional couplers, digital automatic leveling loop (ALC), T/R switches, dummy loads or filters. This unit weighs 60 pounds and has a standard one year warranty.
