DC-DC converters for aerospace and defense power electronics applications introduced by ConTech
CONCORD, Calif. –Power electronics experts at ConTech in Concord, Calif., are introducing the TMF series of DC-DC converters for aerospace and defense applications. ConTech is a Division of Calex Mfg. Co.
The TMF series offers as much as 40 Watts of regulated output power with an industry standard 2-by-1-inch footprint. The series offers a 4:1 input range with nominal input voltages of 24 and 48 volts DC.
Single outputs come in 3.3, 5, 12, 15, and 24 volts DC. Dual outputs are +/-12 and +/-15 volts DC.
The TMF series operates with efficiencies as high as 90%. Features include remote on/off, output trim, and short circuit protection. The operating ambient temperature range of the TMF is -40 to 51 degrees Celsius with no de-rating.
The non de-rated ambient temperature range can be extended with the optional heat sink. The unit is encapsulated with a thermally conductive potting compound in a six-sided metal case for improved thermal performance in still air environments.
