TE quick-disconnect power connectors for military power cables and batteries introduced by TTI
MAISACH-GERNLINDEN, Germany – Electronics distributor TTI Inc. in Maisach-Gernlinden, Germany, is offering the Snap-Lug quick-disconnect powerconnectors from TE Connectivity in Harrisburg, Pa., for military and aerospace applications.
The series of heavy-duty power connectors enable fast interconnection of heavy-gauge power cables to bus bars, relays, batteries, power cables, and grounding devices in aerospace, defense, marine, and other harsh-environment applications.
Snap-Lug quick-disconnect power connectors have a snap on/push to release design. Users can install these power connectors with one piece that requires no washers or nuts to reduce risk of foreign object damage.
Color-coded and keyed for polarity, Snap-Lug quick-disconnect power connectors also help prevent damage from accidental polarity reversal, and minimize the risk of partial mating.

Snap-Lug quick-disconnect power connectors can withstand high vibrations and extreme temperatures. They operate in temperatures from -65 to 150 degrees Celsius.
The connectors have a shrouded design that provides a touch-proof connection with no metal exposed to prevent accidental shock incidents when under power.
Specifications include as many as 500 mating cycles; vibration resistance to MIL-STD-1344, Condition V, Test D; mechanical shock to MIL-STD-810G, Method 516.6; flammability rating to UL 94V-0. They are voltage rated to 1,500 volts AC.
