ENDICOTT, N.Y. – Amphenol Industrial Operations in Endicott, N.Y., is introducing the TS1 series industrial power connector for applications that require robust, reliable power connectors that work in harsh environmental conditions.

The series is for high-power electrified and hybrid applications with high thermal, mechanical, and electrical stresses like electric vehicles, manufacturing systems, and energy storage systems.

The TS1 series offers versatile termination methods for receptacles and flexible wire routing options for plugs for efficient cable management. The series comes in 8- and 12-millimeter contact sizes.

Rigid metal shell

Features include a rigid metal shell and latch, 360-degree electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding, and an operating voltage of 2,000 1,500 volts. Current capacities range from 200 450 amps, and a cable range of 35 to 120 square millimeters with individually shielded wire.

Connectors are UL 4128 certified, USCAR2 compliant, meet IP6K9K for environmental resistance, and have an operating temperature range of -40 to 125 degrees Celsius. The TS1 series can endure 500 times mating cycles and withstand 20- vibrations with rated current.
