WASECA, Minn. – Cinch Connectivity Solutions in Wesaca, Minn., is introducing Johnson precision torque wrenches to install and remove RF and microwave connectors and components from RF devices and test equipment.

Johnson torque wrenches are for 1.85-, 2.4-, 2.92-, and 3.5-millimeter, as well as SMA stainless steel and brass connectors. Cinch is offering Johnson torque wrenches at torque ratings of 8 inch-pounds for stainless steel and 5 inch-pounds for brass connectors, rated to IEEE P287-2007.

At millimeter wave frequencies, proper precision tightening of components is critical to achieve the desired performance specs. Johnson torque wrenches also promote proper usage to avoid over or under tightening, which can damage connectors and associated equipment, and helps to lengthen the life of the connector.

These torque wrenches are available from electronics distributors Digi-Key, Mouser, Newark, Farnell, and Allied. For more information contact Cinch Connectivity Solutions online at https://belfuse.com/cinch.
