FORT MYERS, Fla. – Crystek Corp. in Fort Myers, Fla., is introducing the CVCO55CC-0971-0975 voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) for RF and microwave applications in digital radio equipment, fixed wireless access, satellite communications systems (SATCOM), and base stations.

The CVCO55CC-0971-0975 operates from 971 to 975 MHz with a control voltage range of 0.3 to 4.7 volts. This VCO features typical phase noise of -117 decibels relative to carrier (dBc) per Hertz at 10 kHz offset with excellent linearity. Output power typically is 3 decibel-milliwatts (dBm).

Engineered and manufactured in the USA, the CVCO55CC-0971-0975 RF and microwave device is packaged in the industry-standard 0.5-by 0.5-inch SMD package.

Input voltage to this radio equipment component is 5 volts, with a maximum current consumption of 35 milliamps. Pulling and pushing are minimized to 1.0 MHz peak to peak and 1 MHz per volt, respectively. Second harmonic suppression is -15 decibels relative to carrier (dBc) typical.
