Micro Systems Inc. wins a $3.5 million contract to supply avionics for Air Force aerial target

LANCASTER, Pa., 28 Jan 2008. Herley Industries Inc. has received a contract for approximately $3.5 million from Composite Engineering Inc. (CEi) of Sacramento, Calif., for its avionics suite. The suite will be used in the BQM-167A Air Force Sub-scale Aerial Target (AFSAT).

LANCASTER, Pa., 28 Jan 2008.Herley Industries Inc. has received a contract for approximately $3.5 million from Composite Engineering Inc. (CEi) of Sacramento, Calif., for its avionics suite. The suite will be used in the BQM-167A Air Force Sub-scale Aerial Target (AFSAT). The contract includes GRDCS (Gulf Range Drone Control System) transponders, IFF (Identification Friend or Foe) transponders, EEDs (Electro-Explosive Devices), IFCs (Integrated Flight Controllers), Radar Altimeters, and PMUs (Power Management Units).

Myron Levy, the Company's Chairman and CEO, says, "This package represents substantially all of the electronics inside the target, and we expect that this will be an important program for many years."
