LINCOLN, U.K., 27 May 2008.Selex Galileo, a Finmeccanica company and one of Europe's aerospace and defense organizations, has signed a strategic supply agreement with RF Micro Devices (RFMD), a designer and manufacturer of high-performance radio-frequency systems and solutions.
Selex Galileo and RFMD's subsidiary, RFMD (U.K.) Ltd., have established a new strategic supply agreement on a long-term basis from the company's Newton Aycliffe facility.
It is anticipated that the new agreement will play a pivotal role in Selex Galileo's delivery of a range of key programs, including state-of-the-art AESA Radar products, while forging strong foundations for future business collaborations.
Speaking at the special signing ceremony which took place on May 23rd in London, Norman Bone, senior vice president, radar and advanced targeting, said:
