PHOENIX –Test and measurement specialist Picotest in Phoenix is introducing the J2121A line injector for power supply rejection ratio (PSRR), DC biased inductor, and DC-DC converter input impedance testing in high-power applications like military and satellite buses.
The J2121A power electronics test device can be used with input bus voltages 400 volts and supply to 20 amps. It supports testing to a 1 MHz bandwidth and works with any vector network analyzer (VNA).
The line injector enables the analyze source oscillator signal to modulate the user-provided DC supply voltage. The output of the J2121A line injector for high-power applications is regulated and provides a fixed voltage drop of 750 millivolts from the input bus voltage fed into the injector.
Connecting the J2121A output and the power supply output to the VNA enables users to measure power supply rejection ratio. The line injector can measure the input impedance of a power supply or the inductance of an inductor.
The J2121A includes an isolated current sense monitor output that connects to the VNA, replacing the need for current probe. It comes with the J2171A power supply and connecting cable and a 1-Ohm calibration fixture.
