Micronetics' Stealth Microwave subsidiary receives order for military power amplifiers for IED jamming

HUDSON, N.H., 3 March 2007. Micronetics Inc.'s subsidiary, Stealth Microwave Inc., has booked a production order from a systems integrator serving the U.S. military totaling more than $1.45 million for high-performance power amplifiers used in IED jamming systems.

According to David Robbins, Micronetics president, the company's amplifiers will help solve problems current military forces face on a daily basis, and marks the transfer of technology used in commercial communication systems for use in defense applications.

Micronetics manufactures microwave and radio frequency (RF) components and integrated subassemblies used in a variety of defense, aerospace, and commercial applications. Micronetics also manufactures and designs test equipment and components that test the strength, durability, and integrity of communication signals in communications equipment.
