WATERLOO, Ontario – Teledyne DALSA in Waterloo, Ontario, is introducing the Linea SWIR 512 shortwave infrared (SWIR) line scan camera for machine vision applications.

The camera features an indium gallium arsenide (InGaAs) sensor in a compact format suitable for solar and silicon wafer inspection, mineral sorting, food and packaged good inspection, and recycling.

The SWIR camera delivers responsivity and low noise, and enables systems designers to inspect beyond the visible light range. It offers responsive 25-micron pixels, 40 kHz line rate, cycling mode, programmable I/Os, power over Ethernet (PoE), and precision time protocol (PTP).
