HOD HASHARON, Israel – CONTROP Precision Technologies Ltd. in Hod Hasharon, Israel, is introducing the SPEED-LR digital and stabilized multispectral sensor system for long-range ground observation and surveillance applications.

The SPEED-LR is intended to increase surveillance capabilities for defence and homeland security for detecting and identifying potential threats from increased distances.

The system offers electro-optical sensors for day, night, and low visibility surveillance, and includes a high-definition cooled mid-wave infrared sensor and daylight camera, as well as a shortwave infrared camera.

The system's shortwave infrared sensor enables users to see through obscurants like mist humidity, fog, dust, or smoke. The system also incorporates line-of-sight stabilization at narrow fields of view even when fully zoomed in.
