WASHINGTON, 2 Oct. 2012. Science Applications International Corp. of McLean, Va., will support the aerospace systems modeling and simulation facilities at NASA’s Ames Research Center in Moffett Field, Calif., under a cost-plus-award-fee, definite core, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) hybrid contract.
The contract includes a one-year base period and four one-year options and has a maximum value of $76 million.
SAIC personnel will provide technical services and accept responsibility for the preparation and operation of NASA simulators, collection of research data, and the continuing operation and upgrade of the facilities. The work will be performed at NASA’s Ames facility in Moffett Field, Calif.
