U.S. Army TACOM evaluates Smart Energy technology for determining battery power

CLIFTON, N.J., 31 Jan. 2007. The U.S. Army's Stryker team in Warren, Mich., has entered into a one-year test and evaluation of new Battery Brain systems, an electronic auto power accessory from Smart Energy Solutions Inc. in Clifton, N.J. This contract, which will afford the company the ability to prevent the Army's current batteries from losing their starting power when systems discharge below the required 18 volts DC.
