ConductRF offers ruggedized VNA test cables through 40 GHz

ConductRF positions TUFF-FLEX VNA for applications such as automated test systems, production test stations, and engineering laboratories where cable durability and measurement repeatability are important.

METHUEN, Mass. - ConductRF has expanded its TUFF-FLEX VNA test cable family, offering ruggedized radio-frequency (RF) cable assemblies for vector network analyzer (VNA) measurements in laboratory, engineering, and production test environments at frequencies through 40 GHz.

The cables feature stainless-steel spiral conduit armor designed to protect internal cable structures against excessive bending and mechanical damage. The construction is intended to withstand repeated handling, torsional forces, bending, and crushing in high-use test environments.

Standard configurations support 50-ohm impedance and SMA, Type-N, TNC, 3.5-millimeter, and 2.92-millimeter K-type connector interfaces. Depending on configuration, the assemblies offer crush resistance up to 1,050 pounds per inch, shielding effectiveness greater than 100 decibels, and mating life up to 5,000 cycles.

ConductRF positions TUFF-FLEX VNA for applications such as automated test systems, production test stations, and engineering laboratories where cable durability and measurement repeatability are important.

The TUFF-FLEX VNA family is part of the company's True VNA RF test cable platform, which also includes HI-FLEX VNA cables for applications requiring frequent repositioning and electrical stability through 70 GHz, and APEX VNA cables for millimeter-wave measurements through 120 GHz.

Engineers and purchasing teams can review configurations, compare specifications, select connector combinations and cable lengths, and order TUFF-FLEX VNA assemblies online.
