L-3 to design 5-by-5-inch cockpit displays for Army AH-64D Apache attack helicopter avionics
More than 2,500 SuperSet displays of several different viewing sizes are installed aboard several military aircraft such as the C-17, C-130, C-27J, U-2, T-38, CH-46, and FA-50, L-3 officials say. SuperSet displays typically function as primary flight displays, multi-function displays, or as electronic flight indicator systems.
SuperSet represents an open-architecture family of displays and processing modules that include DO-178B software, ARINC 653 partitioning, DO-254 and DO-160E. For more information contact L-3 Display Systems online at www.L-3com.com/displays.
