CARY, Ill. – Coilcraft Inc. in Cary, Ill., is introducing the 0402DC series ceramic wirewound chip inductors for super low loss in high-frequency circuits in antennas for tablet computers, smart phones, and other mobile electronics.

The 0402DC inductors offer high Q factors in an 0402 (1005) size, and come in 26 standard inductance values ranging from 3.0 to 120 nanohenries.

An additional 73 values are available upon request, including 0.1-nanohenry increments from 2.8 nanohenries to 10 nanohenries. Most values are available with 2 percent tolerance.

The 0402DC series features a wirewound construction for high self resonance to 16 GHz. It also offers lower DCR than other 0402-sized chip inductors. 0402DC series chip inductors are for impedance matching circuits for low band (700 to 960 MHz) and high band (1710 to 2700 MHz) antennas.

0402DC series inductors feature RoHS compliant, matte tin over nickel over silver-platinum-glass frit terminations and offer a maximum reflow temperature of 260 degrees Celsius.
