Fidelity supplies MOTUS Cessna 172 full motion simulator for Toronto Airways

PITTSBURGH, Pa., 17 Dec. 2008 Officials at Toronto Airways, Ltd. purchased a MOTUS Cessna 172 full motion flight simulator from Fidelity Flight Simulation.

PITTSBURGH, Pa., 17 Dec. 2008 Officials at Toronto Airways, Ltd. purchased a MOTUS Cessna 172 full motion flight simulator from Fidelity Flight Simulation.

The Toronto Airways C-172 flight simulator cockpit will include a six degree-of-freedom all-electric motion base, 3 axes of electric dynamic control loading, and a four channel liquid crystal display (LCD) Mosaic Wall external visual display. The simulator will also include a worldwide topographical, airport and navaid database, with additional ground reference enhancements for the Toronto area. The unit will be approved at Transport Canada Flight Training Device Level 5.

Toronto Airways Ltd. owns and operates the Buttonville Municipal Airport (CYKZ), located in Markham, Ontario, 29 kilometers north of Toronto. The airline manages approximately 300,000 sq. ft. of office and hangar space at the airport, and offers professional flight training programs for flight students from around the world
