MIDDLETON, Wis., 10 Dec. 2009 A new rugged graphics PMC/XMC module from Extreme Engineering Solutions (X-ES) – the XPort4101 – is targeted at applications such as navigational displays, glass cockpits, and military targeting systems.

MIDDLETON, Wis., 10 Dec. 2009 A new rugged graphics PMC/XMC module from Extreme Engineering Solutions – the XPort4101 – is targeted at applications such as navigational displays, glass cockpits, and military targeting systems.

The XPort4101 comes in a conduction- or air-cooled XMC/PMC solution featuring the AMD Radeon E2400 graphics processor supporting two independent displays and the Conexant CX23888 video capture device.

XPort4101 is a low-power, high-performance module with features including:
128 megabytes of GDDR3 SDRAM; WUXGA 1920 by 1200 DVI resolution; PCI Express interface and in-house X-ES operating system support includes Linux LSP and Windows drivers.

XPort4101 is shipping today with pricing starting at $3,595 and varying based on configuration and ruggedization level.
