Lockheed Martin is providing common cockpits for the MH-60S Lot 12 aircraft and MH-60R Lot 8 helicopters. The contract was announced 30 Dec.

The common cockpit avionics for the helicopters are based on commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) displays, data-entry devices, audio management system, and dual-redundant flight-management computer from Lockheed Martin–Owego.

Lockheed Martin should finish work on the common cockpits by July 2010. For more information contact Lockheed Martin-Owego online at www.lockheedmartin.com.
