FlightSafety International officials announced its flight training users can now receive preferential pricing and preferred access to the PRISM safety management system (SMS) from ARGUS International. PRISM SMS is a suite of products and services designed to help flight departments as well as other owners and operators of business aircraft to effectively implement and oversee their SMS. It is aligned with the International Civil Aviation Organization "Four Pillars of Safety Management" concept and is fully IS-BAO compliant, FlightSafety officials say. "ARGUS has been actively involved in SMS since 2001," says Joe Moeggenberg, ARGUS chief executive officer and president. "PRISM SMS offers a complete set of instructions, materials, tools, and expert advice that will allow every PRISM SMS customer the ability to build and implement a quality SMS for their unique operation." ARGUS offers PRISM SMS at four cost effective subscription levels so that operators of all sizes and stages of their SMS development can choose the package that best fits them. PRISM SMS includes training and education, SMS and emergency response plan manuals, internal evaluation programs, ERP drills, safety newsletters, research briefs, and a support team made up of aviation safety experts.
