Bombardier Aerospace announces plan to acquire ExelTech Hangar

MONTREAL, Quebec, 14 June 2010. Bombardier announced the acceptance of its offer to purchase the Saint-Laurent facilities of ExelTech Aerospace Inc. following the latter's bankruptcy. The acquisition will increase Bombardier's Global Completion Centre (GCC) capabilities for its Global 5000 and Global Express XRS business jets. The GCC is a fully integrated completion facility with the capability to define, engineer, fabricate, certify, and deliver customized interior installations.

(10,684 sq.-m.) facility will be operational by the fall of 2010.The acquisition of this facility from RSM Richter Inc., in its capacity of receiver of ExelTech Aerospace Inc., is subject to closing conditions including obtaining the approval of the Superior Court of Quebec, Bombardier officials say.
