Booz Allen Hamilton wins Nextgen Systems Engineering 2020 (SE2020) Contract

MCLEAN, Va., 2 July 2010. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) awarded Booz Allen Hamilton an engineering and program management contract to support the FAA's implementation of the Next Generation Air Transportation System (NextGen). The ten-year NextGen contract is potentially worth worth more than $700 million.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) awarded Booz Allen Hamilton an engineering and program management contract to support the FAA's implementation the Next Generation Air Transportation System (NextGen). The ten-year NextGen contract is potentially worth more than $700 million. The contract, which includes NextGen and legacy National Airspace System (NAS) infrastructure support, calls for the provision of a broad range of systems engineering, investment and business case analysis, planning, forecasting and business/financial/information management support services. Booz Allen has assembled a team that includes large-business partners also known for their analytic, program and portfolio management, engineering and integration skills and their NAS experience. These include Tetra Tech/AMT, Inc., LMI, MCR and L-3, supported by several small business partners who offer diversity and special expertise in critical areas such as communication, navigation, surveillance, and automation.
