MIAMI, 9 Oct. 2010. Avionica's 3G Wireless miniQAR Module received Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) STC certification. The module is applicable to all miniQAR Mk III Quick Access Recorders, which are certified for installation on nearly 150 aircraft types.

The module is applicable to all miniQAR Mk III Quick Access Recorders, which are certified for installation on nearly 150 aircraft types. "The 3G Wireless Module is the most anticipated miniQAR development to date," says Raul Segredo, Avionica president."The module attaches to the face of the miniQAR and makes flight data retrieval simple, secure, and efficient for our customers worldwide."" miniQAR Mk III interfaces include two ARINC 717 (Harvard Biphase or Bipolar RZ), three ARINC-429, and one RS-422 channel (ACMS), one RS-232, two 100BT Ethernet, and two USB 2.0 ports, as well as three ARINC 410 discretes.
