Pro Line 21 integrated display system from Rockwell Collins now available for King Air 350 aircraft

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa, 25 Oct. 2010. Rockwell Collins received Supplemental Type Certification (STC) approval to provide its Pro Line 21 integrated display system (IDS) for the Beechcraft King Air 350 aircraft.

Rockwell Collins received Supplemental Type Certification (STC) approval to provide its Pro Line 21 integrated display system (IDS) for the Beechcraft King Air 350 aircraft. The STC allows operators of older Beechcraft King Air 350 aircraft to upgrade to a Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21 display system while retaining the aircraft's existing APS-65 autopilot and Pro Line II radios and sensors. The Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21 IDS system provides operators with advanced capabilities and increased reliability. The system features:three 10- by 8-inch liquid crystal display (LCD) adaptive flight displays; dual attitude heading reference system; dual digital air data computers; solid-state turbulence weather radar; engine indication system (EIS); integrated flight information system (IFIS); and video capability on the system's multi-function display (MFD). Pro Line 21 IDS systems also are available for Dassault Falcon 20; Falcon 50; Beechcraft King Air C90, B200, and 350; Piaggio P180; Hawker 800A; and Cessna Citation C500, C501, and C550 aircraft.
