FlightSafety’s new Beechcraft King Air 350 full flight simulator receives FAA Level D qualification

WICHITA, Kan. 28 Dec. 2010. FlightSafety International's new Beechcraft King Air 350 full flight simulator has been qualified to Level D by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The simulator is located at FlightSafety's Hawker Beechcraft Learning Center in Wichita, Kansas.

FlightSafety International's new Beechcraft King Air 350 full flight simulator has been qualified to Level D by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The flight simulator is located at FlightSafety's Hawker Beechcraft Learning Center in Wichita, Kansas.The simulator features the Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21 Integrated avionics system and is equipped with FlightSafety's VITAL Visual System and electric motion and control loading technology. "The Level D qualification of this new simulator by the FAA will enable us to serve the rapidly growing number of corporate and commercial operators and military and government agencies who rely on FlightSafety for King Air 350 training," says Bruce Whitman, president and chief executive officer at FlightSafety at LaGuardia Airport, N.Y. The first initial training course using this new simulator was attended by pilots from Australia, France, the Philippines, Russia, Slovakia, Thailand, England, and the U.S. FlightSafety offers type specific training for pilots and maintenance technicians of Hawker Beechcraft aircraft at its learning centers in Atlanta; the Greater Philadelphia/Wilmington area; Houston; Lakeland, Fla.; London Farnborough in England; Long Beach, Calif.; Paris-Le Bourget, France; Toledo, Ohio; Wichita, Kan.,; and LaGuardia Airport.
