    Lufthansa and Association of European Airlines lead avionics keynote session at Avionics & Defence Electronics Europe 2011

Manfred Mueller, head of flight safety, Lufthansa Airlines Vincent De Vroey, general manager technical and operations, Association of European Airlines will lead the avionics keynote session at the Avionics & Defence Electronics Europe 2011 conference and exhibition to be held March 16 - 17, 2010 at the M.O.C. Centre in Munich. Click here to register. Lufthansa is a leader in implanting cutting edge avionics in its fleet of aircraft. This keynote presentation from Lufthansa's Capt Mueller will discuss the innovative avionics systems being deployed today in Lufthansa's aircraft and what Lufthansa is exploring for the cockpits of tomorrow. The Association of European Airlines brings together 35 major airlines, and has been the voice of the European airline industry for more than 50 years. "Future avionics plays a key role for the airlines development in order to make air travel a safer place in an increasingly busy sky," De Vroey says. "We are also delighted to be invited to provide a keynote presentation at the opening of the conference, which we aim to deliver and overview of the future of avionics, its impact on the airline industry and how the industry could be impacting on future innovations. "The AEA are pleased to be supporting Avionics & Defence Electronics Europe and will be hosting a workshop on SESAR from the airlines perspective in order to provide information about the developments on the project and what it will mean to the industry," he adds.
