Lido/FMS navigation data from Lufthansa Systems used by MNG Airlines

ISTANBUL, Turkey, 10 Jan. 2011. The Turkish cargo carrier MNG Airlines will use Lido navigation data from Lufthansa Systems for their flight management system (FMS under a five-year-contract.

The Turkish cargo carrier MNG Airlines will use Lido navigation data from Lufthansa Systems for their flight management system (FMS) under a five-year-contract.The Lido/FMS database contains all important route information including altitude and airport data for optimizing routes on board modern aircraft. The navigation data, which are based on global aeronautical information, are updated every 28 days according the AIRAC cycle and can be customized to specific routes and for the use in any type of aircraft. Lufthansa Systems can thus meet the requirements and needs of airlines at all times.MNG Airlines is based in Istanbul. Its growing fleet consists of seven Airbus A300B4-200F, two A300-600, and two Boeing 737-400 aircraft.
