Boeing selected Fokker Elmo, part of Fokker Technologies, to supply electrical equipment across a range of commercial and military aircraft. The different Boeing contracts will be supported by the various Fokker Elmo manufacturing subsidiaries based in The Netherlands, Turkey, and China. The contracts include a continuation of delivering electrical wiring systems and electrical junction boxes for the Next-Generation 737 from Boeing Commercial Airplanes as well wiring systems for the next phases of the P-8A Poseidon, the long-range anti-submarine warfare, anti-surface warfare, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance aircraft.

Boeing is developing the P-8A Poseidon for the U.S. Navy. In January 2009 Boeing was selected to provide eight P-8I long-range maritime reconnaissance and anti-submarine warfare aircraft to the Indian navy, for which Fokker Elmo also has been selected."We are very excited about continuing and growing our relationship with the Boeing Co. and we are delighted to be part of Boeing's long tradition of aerospace leadership and innovation and contribute to a range of the commercial aircraft family and integrated military platforms and defense systems," says Adriaan Leyte, vice president marketing and sales of Fokker Elmo.
