Rockwell Collins is part of the Depot Partnering Activation team. The demonstrations included the completion of the 1-Channel Receiver and 5-Channel Receiver repair capability and proved the ability of depot personnel to troubleshoot and repair F-22 aircraft utilizing the Rockwell Collins-developed test program sets. Personnel correctly identified the failing subassemblies, enabling repair using the repair manual and spares kit. The demonstration constitutes the depot's first repair of this Rockwell Collins equipment."This program serves as a model for depot partnerships, planned or in progress, where Rockwell Collins shares technology and skill sets to support the Department of Defense to enhance operational readiness and its ability to perform maintenance, repair, and overhaul of defense systems," says Scott Gunnufson, vice president and general manager of Service Solutions for Rockwell Collins. "Our close working relationship with the U.S. Air Force, Lockheed Martin, and the WRALC has helped the team form a strong public-private partnership."
