AAI names new business manager

OSPREY, Fla., 14 May 2011. The Airline Avionics Institute (AAI) board of directors elected Walter W. Roney II to succeed Phil Wright as its business manager. This change will take place on 1 January 2012.
Roney has been in the airline customer support & business development for more than 35 years at Hamilton Sundstrand, Cessna Aircraft, and most recently with BAE Systems-Platform Solutions. Roney is also an eight year member of AAI's board of directors, currently serving as its vice president.
Roney will be relocating from Binghamton, N.Y., to the AAI's business office located on the Gulf Coast of Florida.
