Typhoon to be maintained through 2013 by BAE Systems

Included in this is a capability to gather intelligence information and upload it to Typhoon's electronic warfare systems before a mission begins.Royal air force experts generate the data, which is assessed on the ground to simulate the Typhoon's operational environment.The Typhoon Availability Service (TAS) contract calls for maintaining and the aircraft through 2013.
