Business aviation flight training contracts in Europe won by CAE

MONTREAL, Canada, 24 May 2011. Six European business aviation operators have signed up with CAE for flight training at the company's training centers in Europe, North America, and the Middle East. The five operators are ABS Jets in the Czech Republic; Carre Aviation in Malta; Cukurova Aviation out of Turkey; International Jet Management from Austria;  and Ocean Sky, and  VistaJet, -- both based in England.

Aircraft to be trained on include the Gulfstream 550; Bombardier's Challenger 601, Challenger 604, Challenger 605, Global Express, Global 5000, and Learjet 60; Dassault Falcon 7X, Falcon 900, Falcon 900EX EASy, Falcon 2000, and Falcon 2000EX EASy; and other models.
ABS Jets will receive training on multiple aircraft at CAE's Emirates-CAE Flight Training (ECFT) in Dubai, UAE. Carre Aviation, pilots on the Dassault Falcon 900 and Falcon 2000 will train at CAE SimuFlite at the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, Texas, and for the Bombardier Global Express at ECFT, Dubai and the CAE training center in Burgess Hill, England.
Turkey's Cukurova Aviation will have their pilots train on Bombardier Challenger 300 aircraft at CAE's facility in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Cukurova Bombardier Global 5000 pilots train at ECFT in Dubai.
International Jet Management (IJM) will train more than 100 pilots on a variety of business jets at at CAE facilities in the Middle East, Europe, and the U.S.
Pilots at Ocean Sky will train on Dassault Falcon 7X, Falcon 900EX EASy, Falcon 2000EX EASy, and Bombardier Global Express in Burgess Hill, the Gulfstream 550 at ECFT in Dubai, the Bombardier Challenger 604 in Amsterdam, and the Challenger 601 at CAE SimuFlite in Dallas. VistaJet will now train pilots in CAE and Bombardier training centers.
