MONTREAL, 26 May 2011. A new line of electronic flight bag (EFB) products and was announced by officials at navAero for commercial avionics and military avionics applications.
For flight deck tablet applications such as the Apple iPad or Android-based Samsung Galaxy navAero is introducing t-Tablet line, which has a modular design, with tablet mounting structures used to secure the tablet device and meet industry standards. The structure also can be configured to provide capabilities through certified aircraft power connection and connectivity to aircraft data buses.
The navAero t-Pad family of displays now has both 10.4-inch and 12.1-inch liquid crystal displays with light LED technology. The t-Bag C22 EFB CPUs now sue Microsoft Widows 7 operating system, which enables "multi-touch" functionality.
navAero also has offerings for full-certified connectivity on aircraft systems such as an advanced aircraft interface device.
