L-3 avionics used on Cobham's cockpit system in Skylander SK-105

PHOENIX, 26 June 2011. Engineers at L-3 Aviation Products Group (L-3 APG) announced that the avionics to be installed on Sky Aircraft's new Skylander SK-105 include the company's TCAS 3000SP with dual RCZ-852 Mode S Transponders; Model FA2100 cockpit voice recorder; Stormscope weather mapping system; the digital flight data acquisition unit; and digital flight data recorder.

Engineers at L-3 Aviation Products Group (L-3 APG) announced that the avionics to be installed on Sky Aircraft's new Skylander SK-105 include the company's TCAS 3000SP with dual RCZ-852 Mode S Transponders; Model FA2100 cockpit voice recorder; Stormscope weather mapping system; the digital flight data acquisition unit; and digital flight data recorder.The SK-105 is scheduled to make its first flight next year with type certification expected to be granted by the end of 2013.The L-3 APG has four divisions: ACSS in Phoenix, Avionics Systems, Aviation Recorders, and Electrodynamics, Inc.
