SUNDSVALL, Sweden, 30 June 2011. Officials at Malmo Aviation in Sweden chose the t-BagC22 Class 2 electronic flight bag (EFB) from navAero their fleet of Avro RJ70, 85, and 100 aircraft. Malmo will start integrating the EFB systems later this year with a navAero European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) standard type certificate (STC).

Officials at Malmo Aviation in Sweden chose the t-BagC22 Class 2 electronic flight bag (EFB) from navAero their fleet of Avro RJ70, 85, and 100 aircraft. Malmo will start integrating the EFB systems later this year with a navAero European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) standard type certificate (STC). The Class 2 EFB systems will include a HSDPA//UMTS/EDGE/GPRS wireless cellular communications module to enable on-ground data transfer, as well as th ARINC 429 connectivity module that enables the depiction of own-ship position on an airport surface area moving map application. Other EFB applications implemented by Malmo will include performance software provided from BAE Systems. The airline also will be using the EFB system for document viewing and displaying aeronautical charts as an extended service from their current charting provider.
