Ukraine International Airlines and Jeppesen sign new flight planning and charting service contract

ENGLEWOOD, Colo., 1 July 2011. Officials at Ukraine International Airlines and Jeppesen signed a five-year charting and flight planning service renewal contract. Jeppesen will provide tailored Airway Manual digital charting services, including e-Link Online and e-Link for Windows. The agreement also includes flight planning services and OpsData aircraft performance analysis from Jeppesen.

Jeppesen will provide tailored Airway Manual digital charting services, including e-Link Online and e-Link for Windows. The agreement also includes flight planning services and OpsData aircraft performance analysis from Jeppesen.
The agreement enables Ukraine International Airlines to continue its progression from paper to digital navigation information systems.
"We are looking forward to implementing paperless navigation solutions that work to reduce pilot workload, and the digital solutions provided by Jeppesen provide the basis for making this transition over time," says Sergiy Lebedyev, director, Operational Control Center, Ukraine International Airlines. "Eventually, we are considering integrating electronic flight bag solutions with Jeppesen."
