PBN network to be implemented by Quovadis at 11 airports in the Philippines

BLAGNAC, France, 8 July 2011. Officials at Quovadis -- the flight operations services company for Airbus -- announced that the company will participate in developing a performance-based navigation (PBN) network for 11 Philippine airports. The work is part of a program with the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) and the French Civil Aviation Authority (DGAC).

The work is part of a program with the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) and the French Civil Aviation Authority (DGAC).
The PBN project should enable the whole region to gain advantages from increased air traffic management (ATM) capacity and reduced emissions through shorter tracks.
This program includes procedure design and obstacles data survey training and also training for air traffic controllers and flight safety inspectors.
