787 Dreamliner demonstrated to operators in India

NEW DELHI, India, 13 July 2011. Officials at Boeing [NYSE: BA] are showcasing their 787 Dreamliner aircraft to prospective buyers in India this week at New Delhi International Airport. One of the first operators of the 787 will be Air India, which has ordered 27 787 aircraft. Jet Airways also has ordered 10 of the new airplanes.

One of the first operators of the 787 will be Air India, which has ordered 27 787 aircraft. Jet Airways also has ordered 10 of the new airplanes. The 787 Dreamliner is expected to have a 20 percent reduction in fuel use when compared to similar-sized airplanes.
