Orenburg Airlines Jeppesen sign digital navigation contract

ENGLEWOOD, COLO., 15 July 2011. Jeppesen and Orenburg Airlines -- a commercial carrier out of Russia -- signed a five-year charting, navigation, and flight planning service renewal contract. Jeppesen solutions provided in the agreement include Airway Manual digital charting services, NavData navigational information services, Jetplanner flight planning services, and OpsData aircraft performance analysis.
"Jeppesen's digital navigation and flight planning solutions work to increase operational efficiency and reduce pilot workload, as we scale back dependency on paper-based solutions," says Alexander Blynskiy, director, Flight Operations Center, Orenburg Airlines.
Orenburg Airlines, also known as Orenair, was founded in 1932 and operates an aircraft fleet of Boeing 737-400, 500 and 800 and Tupolev and Antonov models.
